Erasmus+ Poland Day 2

Today very early we went to the tourist town of Sandomierz, in the center of Poland between the cities of Lublin and Krakow.

In this city with a lot of history, we took a guided tour of the most emblematic places, passing through churches and defense towers.

Later, we continue the visit through the kilometer-long tunnels of the city, places that were used in ancient times as a refuge and to execute criminals.

Afterwards, we went down to an old barrack, where they showed us different costumes from different civilizations, weapons and shields. Several students have been able to dress, among them Juan Diego as tartar. After that, we stopped for lunch in a hotel from 1563.

After regaining strength, we left for the town of Nowa Dęba to visit the museum/factory of Christmas decorations "Muzeum Bombki Choinkowej". Here we received an explanation of the different types of most widespread Christmas decorations (American, Victorian, Norwegian, French and the old Polish). Next, they showed us the different types of Christmas decoration objects that they make, being able to witness from the exhibition, to the elaboration in cast glass and its hand painting. Finally, we held a Christmas ball workshop where everyone was able to make their own.
