Erasmus+ Spain Day 1

 

Today, the Erasmus week in which our school is the host has kicked off, receiving the Turkish and Polish delegations. First of all, they were able to share a breakfast with typical products from the 3 countries, to later make a visit to our facilities.

Later, the town hall of our town welcomed the delegations, they were also able to witness a flamenco performance from the Camas dance school. On the other hand, each delegation has presented their school to the rest. To this act, all the classes of Secondary attend.

In the afternoon, a workshop on handmade aloe vera soaps and rosemary and lavender bath salts was held at our facilities, organized by the Ecoescuela project. Students from the two delegations that visit us together with the students of the Erasmus project of our school have participated in the workshop, thanks to the collaboration of the environmental committee. Next Friday, farewell day, they will be able to finish wrapping and labeling soaps and salts to take back to their countries as souvenirs.

Everyone had a great first day together, exchanging cultures and personal experiences. Tomorrow we have a full day with cultural visits, specifically to the Alcázar and a boat visit on the Guadalquivir river.
